Hey all that reads my letters!! This week has been going pretty good. It's been really rough trying to help out all the missionaries in the zone. They all kinda look a little discouraged, so now we are working a lot in trying to help out all the missionaries. It's been a lot of work and revelation to find the best ways to do it. Maybe if anyone has any ideas it would be great to know! But, the work is truly going forward. The Lord has His way and time to do these things and we just have to give it all we got to do it.
This week we went and did some splits with some other missionaries and it got super late so I had to go and sleep in the house of the missionary that I was with. So, when we were there, he was taking his inform and stuff, and out of the blue this rat ran across the room so fast and the missionary I was with stood up so fast and started screaming and in his screams he was saying "Why am I screaming, I'm not even scared of rats!!" I thought that was pretty funny. My last like 5 compaƱions have been gringos and now I feel like my Spanish is getting worse. I just don't have a latino to help me out as much. It's rough but anyway, I need to study more too. Our Spanish study is very week because there's not so much time. But all is well, and the Lord has His ways in helping and blessing us as long as we are obedient.
Love you guys so much and hope you all have an awesome week!!! Bye!
These pics are with some members and the sister made jello for us. She made the inside look like a flower. We told her that she can come to our weddings and make us those jellos haha.

Letter From Elder Pollock
Well guys, this week has been a great one! I had to do a lot of traveling earlier in the week to go visit a couple of cities to help some people with interviews and stuff. It was pretty great and I loved working with all those people! But also this week we had transfers. I'm now back in Guayaquil. Sunday night we had to take a bus at 10:30 at night to get to Guayaquil by 7 in the morning for the transfers. It was a long night and I'm now super tired! Like it's hard to keep my eyes open. It's a good experience though.. Now my new comp is also from the United States. His name is Elder Van Leeuwen! He travled with me here to Ecuador. He's from my group. It is really cool cause we have always been good friends throughout the whole mission and now we are companions! It will be such a great experience and I'm super excited to work with him! Anyways, love you all so much and hope you guys are following the modern day prophets that God calls here on earth to guide us from harms way. Bye!

Letter From Jackson
Hey everyone! This week has been crazy! First we went to a conference in a city called Manta. It's about 5-6 hours from where I'm at. It was a multi-zone conference. It was really nice to hear what the mission president and his wife had to say to us. I actually loved it. I really look up to them. But, it was also good to see my training campaƱion. from when i got here to Ecuador, Elder Astete. he ends his mission this next week! We are really good friends now. After, we traveled back to my area and was on intercambios with my zone leader where he was with me for a couple days. one day a family gave us some fish, so for that lunch we decided to make Ceviche! Which is my favorite food here in Ecuador! Anyway, we got back to the house and started to cook and stuff. After we finished cooking we took a picture in memory of our amazing cooking job. Afterwards, when we started eating I realized that this Ceviche was so bad. In fact, I'm pretty sure it's the worst food I had eaten here in Ecuador! My comp and I started laughing and stuff and then he had this idea that if we put Coke in it, it would make it better! so we did, and then started eating again. It actually really surprised me on how much worse that idea made our food. Oh man! It was so bad. But I would like for all of you to know that I did finish it!! Took a while but I did.
Anyway the week was a good one. We worked super hard trying to find as many people as we could to help and bring to Christ! It truly is an amazing work and that Christ is at the head it. Love you all so much and hope you guys have an awesome week! Bye!
