Hey guys,
This week was a hot one! That sounds weird to say but, it was. This last week was a pretty good one. We are working on finding more people to teach. We need to contact more. Doing that and finding members with nonmember families are awesome so that the whole family can be members.
It's super cool to see the missionary work progress here. As a zone of 16 missionaries, we baptized 22 people this month of April. That was such a blessing. We are all so pumped and excited to see this upcoming month. My comp and I, this last Saturday, had 2 baptisms. A mom, named Guadalupe, and her son Derlis. They are so amazing and were really prepared by the Lord. They are such a happy family. She also has 2 more daughters. They are amazing as well . The assistants to the president said we can go to the temple this week. I believe it's this Wednesday... I don't know, but it's a 4 hour bus ride! I'm pumped to go to the temple.
Anyway, I love you guys so much and hope you guys are saying your personal and family prayers, and studying the scriptures. Those things will strengthen your testimonies and help you endure to the end. Bye!

Looking Like a Red Tomato
This week has been so hot!!! I'm sweating before I even leave the house every day! But at night it's nice and cool. Also all of my clothes are dirty so I've been washing the same shirt and socks and all every night so I can have clean clothes the next day. It's an experience I'll tell you that!
This last Saturday we had another baptism! Her name is Mayerly. She is super cool and was so happy to make this covenant with the Lord. She was dancing before the pictures before the baptism. Her sister got baptized the last week. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to send pictures this week.
Today we went to my old sector called Jaramijo and played soccer and volleyball as a zone! It was so cool to be back there for a little bit. We just went to the church and played in the little cement field that they have. I am super sun burned. I'll come home either looking like a red tomato or, in time, like a Latino.
We have so many super cool investigators!, But some days we don't have time to visit them all, which is a bummer, but I think that they are happier! Alright, I love you guys so much and hope that all is going well! Remember to go to church every Sunday. The sacrament is one of the most important things to participate in. This week try to find the time to study in the scriptures or conference talks and try to learn a little more about the importance and why we need to partake of it.
Alright, love you guys bye!

The first foto is the couple that got married, the second pic is of the baptisms. The couple in the middle and the girl on the right. The third is from this last Saturday, and with a couple missionaries after playing soccer today. The last is of my comp at the dentist to take out his wisdom teeth.

The Husband Named Hugo
This week was super amazing! I'm in a new area with a new companion and I love it! Here in Manta there is no rain or clouds and just straight sun. It's a lot of sweating everyday, all day long. My comp always walks around with this huge sombrero. Sometimes from behind he looks like a Chinese guy.
Last Saturday we had 3 baptisms! 4 in the ward. There are 4 missionaries in the ward. The zone leaders and us. It was such a cool experience. So last Friday this couple, where the wife had been listening to the missionaries for 8 years and the husband who's been listing for 4 years got married on Friday and on Saturday got baptized. After they got married, the husband named Hugo said that he feels the same haha. He's super cool and never wears a shirt unless he has to go somewhere important. Also, a girl who has been listening to the missionaries for like 2 and a half weeks. This next week her sister said that she will get baptized.
I love this new area and I'm looking forward to what is coming up. Oh yeah, I went running with my comp on the beach one morning and there were tons of fisherman with their catches from that morning. They had all the fish on the beach. There were tons of sharks like bull sharks and other types, but I don't know what they're called. Also these swordfish but aren't swordfish, but pretty much the same. And barracuda and tons of big fish. It was awesome. I know I didn't spell some of that right, but that's not too important.
Anyway everything is going good and just taking advantage of our sector and finding new people to teach and help and do all that we can to find more people to teach. Love you guys so much. Sorry I can't send pics, but this computer doesn't have a spot for my flash drive and it's been like that the past couple of times... sorry.
Hope everyone has an awesome week!!

Transfers!
Hey guys!!!
This week went by super fast. I'm in a new area in the mission, but now I'm back in Manta! It's super cool cause now I'm back at the beach haha. My comp says that he wants to go for runs at the beach in the mornings, so I'm pumped for that! Finally, I have a comp that wants to go for runs. Sorry I haven't been able to write the past couple of weeks cause things happened and I didn't have any time to write, but today I can a little bit!
So in my new sector I guess, we have a baptismal date this weekend for the 7th. So yeah I'm pumped! I'm living in a house with the zone leaders too, so that should be pretty fun! They are super cool and good missionaries too, so I'm excited. My comps name is Elder Acurra and he is from Peru. This is his last transfer in the mission so he's almost done!
Anyways, thanks guys for everything and all the support! The mission is a wonderful place. Always listen to the missionaries and always read the Book of Mormon and pray daily and I promise that you guys will find a lot of happiness.
Bye!
