Transfers Again!

Hey guys,  I just passed 10 months in the mission!  Dang.  But anyway, everything is going super good!  This week went by really fast. But, last Monday night my son from Peru had emergancy transfers.  Now I'm training a Gringo!  Now I have two kids in the mission.  He's from New York.  He served in Wyoming for 3 months waiting for his Visa, but now he's got it and yeah he's here.  He's super cool!  We get along really well, but I wish he just tried to talk more Spanish.  I always just respond to him in Spanish and then he's like, what?  But yeah, he's super cool!  We have seen so many miracles here in this new area! I love it here a ton and we are just trying to put in as much work as we can!  The mission really is a place of miracles and truly is the Lords work!  Always remember to be reading the Book of Mormon everyday because it's the rock of Christ to build your foundacions which is your testimony.  Remember to always read it!

Bye!

TRAINING!

Hey guys,

This week has been so crazy!  So now I'm training and have a son in the mission.  His name is Elder Castro.  He's from Lima Peru and has 21 years.  We get along super well together! He is super obedient and a really hard worker.
I'm glad I'm getting to train him here in Ecuador.  We are in a new sector here in Guayaquil.  It's super cool because the members are really good with working with the missionaries.  It's been such a great week!!  Elder Castro and I have been working our tails off to find all the investigators that the Sister missionaries left for us.  One of them had tons of doubts and wasn't going to be baptized anymore because an ex missionary and mormon was putting tons of doubts in her head and that she shouldn't be baptized and showing tons of videos and stuff.  But we took all these doubts from her head and help her feel better about everything and she should be baptized this Saturday.  She is so cool and super happy!  A bit confused at first, but now very happy!  This week has been a real good experience!

Anyway, love you you guys so much, and it feels weird that Paige is now home.  I can't imagine how weird it would be to be home.

Alright bye!

Happy Mother's Day

So this past week was super cool!  With the zone in Manta, we did this huge activity!  We got this huge banner that we put in the middle of a huge park so that a lot of people were walking by, then all the missionaries with members went out to contact people so that they could come write something to their moms on this big banner.  I loved it so much!  I'll send some pictures.

I didn't get to say goodbye to my converts.  I got transferred out of my zone and now I'm back in Guayaquil.  I'm chillin with another Elder named Elder Townsend.  We will both be training this transfer, so while we're waiting for tomorrow to receive our comps,  we are comps.  It's sweet.  2 Gringos preaching repentence unto all.  But yeah, I'll get my new comp tomorrow about mid-day.  We will then go to my new area tomorrow.  That will be fun, haha, cause I don't know anyone.  Well, I got to talk to the Bishop, but I'll get to know him tomorrow.

Anyways, I love you guys so much.  I'm so happy to be here in the mission.  It really has changed my life and helped me understand the Gospel of our Savior Jesus Christ.  I know that Joseph Smith restored the only true church of Christ here on this earth.  The Book of Mormon is the most correct book on the earth.  It testifies of Christ and brought fourth the Plan that God has for us. The Plan of Happiness.  I am thankful for all the blessing that the Lord has given us in these last days. I know all these things to be true with all the sincerity of my heart.  I love you guys so much.

Bye,

Elder Jackson

American Candy

This week was pretty cool! This last Saturday we had the opportunity to baptize another child of our Heavenly Father.  She is so amazing and super pilas.  We have known her for about 3 weeks. Every time we would teach her she would be really attentive and really listening carefully.  She's always reading the Book of Mormon while we are walking up to her door.  She 19 years old and was truly chosen by God to receive the Gospel.  I gave her a picture of the Ecuador temple at her baptism and she screamed a little bit and said "me voy aqui!".  It was super cool!  It was such a good experience to be able to get to know her.  Her name is Alexandra Guana.

Today we got up at 6 am!  So early, but a member took us to this beach that is super cool!!  It was so beautiful. I had a great time.  In the morning I was able to buy 4 Milky Ways at a store and it was really nice to eat a little bit of American candy..... but the day was so cool!!

Love you guys so much and really want you guys to always exercise the Atonement of Christ everyday.  By doing that, will help bring much joy in your lives.

bye!
